WristRoute Lite 1.15

WristRoute Lite is a dedicated GPS application for Apple Watch designed for outdoor activities such as hiking and biking, offering functionality without the need for an iPhone or an internet connection.

With support for reading GPX files that include waypoints, routes, and tracks, users can easily download a GPX file for their next adventure, import it to the watch, and access features like following the route line on a map or tracking elevation changes throughout the journey.

Utilizing US Topo maps by the USGS within the continental United States and OpenStreetMap derived maps elsewhere, WristRoute ensures reliable map data that can be preloaded and accessed offline.

In order to optimize battery consumption for all-day use, WristRoute offers features like GPS Battery Saver mode which activates GPS only when necessary. Additionally, users have the option to disable map display, showing only GPX route lines and waypoints on the screen.

While the Lite version of WristRoute is free of charge, it does not support exporting watch-created waypoints and tracks or bulk caching maps. Users looking for these advanced capabilities can upgrade to the full version of the app.
